The Jury's description and judgment:
[This project] explores the capacity of urban acupuncture very well, suggesting small-scale interventions that can be made throughout the implementation of the master plan. The overall master plan is very robust and shows a very good approach to the relationship between old and new.
It is this closely measured mix of content that has given the jury an insight into a very good project that we would very much like to see realized in Rudkøbing. It is both pragmatic and artistic in its approach, and can be realized as a good project without calling for immediate large-scale interventions.
